The first ever ‘Champions Dinner’ will be staged in the run up to the 2025 Halo World Snooker Championship with former world champions invited to share stories, relive tournament memories on and off the table, and celebrate their shared legacy as friends and rivals.

A total of 12 former Crucible champions will attend the inaugural dinner, which takes place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sheffield on Thursday 17 April, including reigning champion Kyren Wilson, ‘The King of the Crucible’ Stephen Hendry and six-times winner Steve Davis.

A glass will be raised to those champions who are no longer with us but remain revered figures within the sport – most notably, recognising the recent passing of six-times champion Ray Reardon and 1979 winner Terry Griffiths.

The new ‘Champions Dinner’ is based on the dinner held each year since 1952 at the Augusta National ahead of the Masters Tournament in golf. A unique black velvet ‘Champions Jacket’ designed by McCann Bespoke in London will be presented to each of the attending champions.
