Women’s Snooker

World Women’s Snooker (WWS) is responsible for women’s snooker globally and its official ranking list.

WWS oversees the World Women’s Snooker Tour which incorporates several international ranking tournaments annually. These events are open to women and girls of all ages, with players of any level of experience encouraged to pick up a cue and take to the baize.

Over 150 players from over 25 countries currently compete on the WWS Tour, with leading players including 12-time world champion Reanne Evans and Hong Kong’s Ng On Yee having also competed professionally on the World Snooker Tour.

Diversity & Inclusion

Snooker is an inclusive sport and the WPBSA as the world governing body for snooker and billiards encourages mixed gender events. The only exemption is the development tour operated by World Women’s Snooker.

Snooker is open to all who wish to be involved in any capacity and we encourage all transgender and non-binary participants to take part. Please read our WPBSA Trans and Gender Diverse Policy for further information and guidance.
