Bio

Poland’s Adam Stefanow turned professional in 2018 following his run to the final of the WSF Championship in Malta.

A former Polish Amateur Championship winner, Stefanow spent three years as an amateur based in Sheffield, England as he looked to achieve his dream of joining the World Snooker Tour.

Following a strong showing at the 2018 EBSA European Championship, Stefanow received a wildcard to compete at the new World Snooker Federation Championship in Malta. There he made it all the way to the final, coming back from 3-1 down to Iceland’s Kristjan Helgason in the semi-finals and despite losing out to China’s Luo Honghao in the title match was rewarded with a two-year professional tour card from the start of the 2018/19 season.
