Bio

Farnworth’s Craig Steadman has maintained a consistent presence on the main tour since 2012, reaching the last 16 of four ranking events.

In 2015 he defeated Rhys Clark, Michael White and Jamie Burnett to qualify for the televised stages of the World Championship for the first time, losing 10-3 to Ronnie O’Sullivan at the Crucible Theatre.

Other highlights include a quarter-final appearance at the minor-ranking Lisbon Open in 2014 and an appearance at the last 16 stage of the China Open in 2016.

He regained his professional status most recently in 2018 by successfully coming through Q School.
