Eden Sharav achieved his best result as a professional at the 2018 Northern Ireland Open as he reached the semi-finals of a ranking event for the first time.
Sharav, who since 2018 has represented Israel (previously Scotland), defeated players including former ranking event winners Ali Carter and Peter Ebdon in Belfast before losing to eventual champion Judd Trump.
He first turned professional in 2015 after successfully coming through Q School and prior to his Northern Ireland run also reached the last 16 of the English Open in Crawley (l. Ronnie O’Sullivan).
Sharav has twice represented Israel at the Snooker World Cup (2017 & 2019) and reached a career-high world ranking of 67 in May 2019.
