Bio

The 2018 Paul Hunter Classic saw England’s Hammad Miah reach the last 16 of a full-ranking event for the first time before losing to eventual champion Kyren Wilson.

Miah has twice qualified for the main tour through Q School during his career, most recently in 2018 to earn his current two-year tour card.

In 2017 he reached the final qualifying round of the World Championship for the first time with victories against Ricky Walden and Martin O’Donnell to stand one win away from a debut at the Crucible Theatre, losing to Rory McLeod 10-7.
