Hatem Yassen secured a return to the World Snooker Tour (WST) in 2024 by winning that All-African Snooker Championship for the second time in his career.
In a dramatic final, Yassen defeated Abdel Shaheen in a final frame decider to win his continental crown for the first time since 2015.
The player from Egypt previously featured on the professional tour between 2015 and 2017 but was unable to earn a victory during this two-year spell.
