Himanshu Jain qualified for the World Snooker Tour for the first time in 2022 by winning four matches at the second event of the inaugural Asia-Oceania Q School in Thailand.
During his first season as a professional, Jain earned two victories, claiming the notable scalp of Jimmy White at the Scottish Open qualifiers following a 4-3 win.

The Indian player had previous competed in Q School Europe during 2018 and 2019.
