One of the fastest players on tour, Ukraine’s Iulian Boiko hit the headlines in January 2020 by reaching the final of the World Snooker Federation Open in Malta.
Despite losing 5-3 to England’s Ashley Hugill, the 14-year-old prodigy had done enough with wins against the likes of former professionals Zhang Yong, Sean O’Sullivan and Ross Muir to earn his place on the World Snooker Tour for the first time.
In March 2020 he also became the EBSA European 6-Red champion for the first time.
