Leicester’s Louis Heathcote turned professional in 2019 by successfully coming through Q School Event 2 in Wigan.

His best ranking event finish to date came at the 2021 Shoot Out, where he won four matches to reach his first quarter-final, before losing out 47-37 to Craig Steadman.

He scored one of the best wins of his career at the 2020 World Championship qualifiers, defeating two-time former world finalist Ali Carter 6-3, before losing 10-5 to Alan McManus in the final qualifying round.

In 2015 Heathcote reached the final of the EBSA European Under-21 Championship, losing 6-3 to Darryl Hill.
