Lu Ning has enjoyed two spells on the World Snooker Tour to date, reaching the final of the 2022 Championship League Ranking Event, losing to Luca Brecel.

Having previously reached the last four of the 2019 Gibraltar Open, 18 months later he would reach his maiden Triple Crown semi-final at the 2020 UK Championship, ultimately losing out to world number one Judd Trump.

Lu also reached the quarter-finals of the Indian Open in Kochi and the last 16 stage of a further two events helping him to break into the world’s top 64 during the 2019/20 season.

Lu is a former world under-21 champion, having defeated Zhou Yuelong 9-4 in the final. He regained his place on tour in 2018 by successfully coming through Q School.
