Bio

Lukas Kleckers reached the quarter-final stage of a ranking event for the first time at the 2023 WST Classic.

The German player defeated Jimmy Robertson, Allan Taylor, Haydon Pinhey and Jackson Page, before losing out to Gary Wilson in the last eight.

Early Career

Kleckers regained a place on the World Snooker Tour at the start of the 2020/21 season by finishing in second place on the 2019/20 Challenge Tour rankings. He previously spent two years on the professional circuit from 2017-2019 having qualified through Q School.

He notably made the highest break of his professional career to date (137) at the 2017 Northern Ireland Open against five-time world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan.

During his amateur career he became national champion for the first time in 2013 and won the German 6-Red Championship in 2016.
