Luo Honghao qualified to play at the televised stages of the World Championship at his first attempt in 2019, losing 10-0 to former champion Shaun Murphy at the Crucible Theatre.
The Chinese player turned professional at the start of the 2018/19 season following his victory at the World Snooker Federation Championship in Malta as an 18-year-old.
His best ranking finish to date have been quarter-final appearances at the 2018 English Open and 2019 Riga Masters, losing 5-3 to defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan at the former.
