Mark Joyce reached his first ranking event final after 13 years as a professional at the 2019 Riga Masters, losing 5-2 to Yan Bingtao.
The Englishman previously reached the quarter-finals of six ranking events, notably the UK Championship both in 2010 and 2017.
In November 2014 he rose to his career-high ranking to date of 29th position and is regarded as one of the best players yet to have played at the televised stages of the World Championship.
He is a former finalist at the Masters qualifying event in 2008 losing to Judd Trump and at amateur level captured both the English Amateur Championship (2006) and European Under-19 Championship (2001) prior to turning professional.
