Bio

Mohammad Asif turned professional for the first time at the start of the 2022/23 season following his performances at the inaugural Asia-Oceania Q School in Bangkok, Thailand.

He won three matches during his debut season as a professional, most notably at the UK Championship when he defeated former European Under-21 Championship winner Aaron Hill 6-2, before losing to England’s Hammad Miah in the following round.

He compiled his highest break as a professional against Oliver Brown at the English Open qualifiers with a run of 134 on his way to a 4-2 victory.

In 2015, he reached the last 16 of the 6-Red World Championship, ultimately losing out to Hong Kong’s Marco Fu.
