Australia’s Ryan Thomerson qualified for the World Snooker Tour for the first time following his victory at the 2022 Asia-Pacific Open Snooker Championship.

Thomerson previously competed alongside Steve Mifsud at the 2019 World Cup and notably reached the quarter-finals of the 2020 WSF Open in Malta.

He is also a former Australian Open Championship winner, having defeated Mifsud 6-3 in the 2017 final.
