Lincoln’s Steven Hallworth ended a four-year absence from the World Snooker Tour in August 2020 by successfully coming through Q School Event 3 with a 4-2 victory against Alfie Burden in the final round.
A quarter-finalist at the 2017 Shoot Out while competing as an amateur, Hallworth previously turned professional for the first time in 2014 by successfully qualifying from the EBSA Play-Offs.
Hallworth first took up cue sports at the age of five having picked up a pool cue while on holiday and first came to mainstream attention in 2010 when he qualified for the final eight of the ‘Rileys Star of the Future’ event backed by Ronnie O’Sullivan.
