Victor Sarkis of Brazil won the 2021 Pan American Snooker Championship to earn a place on the World Snooker Tour for the first time from the start of the 2022/23 season.
From Florianópolis in Santa Catarina, Sarkis defeated Renat Denkha 5-3 in the final to win the biggest title of his career to date.
Sarkis won his first match as a professional at the 2023 Shoot Out, defeating Mark Joyce 18-14 in the single frame contest.
