Wang Yuchen successfully earned a tour card at the 2024 Q School to secure a return to the World Snooker Tour after a six-year absence.
The Hong Kong China cueist defeated former professionals Andy Hicks and Jenson Kendrick before overcoming Dylan Emery in a deciding frame in the final round of event one.
Wang was previously on the tour from 2016 to 2018 but his best run at a ranking event came as a wildcard at the 2013 Shanghai Masters, where he defeated Joe Perry to reach the last 32 before losing out to Neil Robertson.
He also secured a notable 6-5 victory over former world champion Peter Ebdon in the opening round of the 2016 UK Championship.
