Bio

Zhang Jiangkang reached the last 16 of a ranking tournament for the first time at the 2019 Scottish Open with victories against Chen Feilong, John Astley and Tom Ford.

He would repeat the feat two years later at the 2021 British Open, losing 3-2 to eventual champion Mark Williams.

A graduate from the CBSA Academy in Beijing, Zhang first turned professional in 2018 by virtue of his position on the CBSA China Tour ranking list, before coming through the CBSA Qualifiers in 2021 to regain his place after one year away.
