Main tour professional Peter Lines was elected to the board as a WPBSA Player Director in December 2019.
Yorkshire’s Lines first turned professional back in 1991 and has since achieved a career-high ranking of 42, reaching his maiden ranking event semi-final at the 2018 Paul Hunter Classic in Germany.
He also notably reached the quarter-finals of the UK Championship in 2009, claiming the scalps of Marco Fu and Mark Williams before losing out to former champion Stephen Maguire.
Having been relegated from the main tour at the end of the 2015/16 season, Lines subsequently claimed the World Seniors Championship title in 2017, before returning to the professional circuit following the EBSA Play-offs later that year.
Peter Lines currently competes on the main tour alongside his son Oliver, both players based at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds.
