Statement: Phil Mumford

World Billiards Ltd (WBL) has today announced that due to other work commitments Phil Mumford has taken the decision to step down from the Board of Directors and his role of director of the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB) with immediate effect.

Jason Ferguson, WPBSA Chairman said: “It has been a pleasure to work with Phil, his passion for billiards has been fantastic. With his commitment and hard work Phil has been a key member of the World Billiards team that has developed the World Billiards Tour in recent years increasing the number of events, participants and prize money.”

Plans for replacement directorship for both WBL and EPSB boards will be announced in due course.
