Earlier this year we announced the launch of the all-new WPBSA Q Tour as a direct replacement for the Challenge Tour that has operated during the past two seasons.
Since the start of the new professional season earlier this month, we have received a number of enquiries from amateur players around the world as to when the 2020/21 Q Tour will begin.
Given the current global circumstances and the greater restrictions currently in place to reduce the spread of coronavirus, players will understand that it is currently extremely difficult to be able to run a series of international amateur tournaments of this nature.
We remain committed to delivering Q Tour and are ready to do so as soon as these restrictions are relaxed or lifted. The current situation is one that is rapidly changing and therefore a further review of our position will take place at the end of October.
We would like to thank amateur players for their patience and understanding and look forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible.
