Following the closing of entries today, the World Snooker Federation (WSF) can announce that over 140 individual players have entered the 2018 WSF Championships to take place at the Dolmen Hotel, Malta from 14-24 March 2018.
The WSF Championships will see elite amateur snooker players from Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Americas come together to compete for a place on the prestigious World Snooker Tour. Further places will also be contested for an opportunity to be invited to enter the 2018 Betfred World Snooker Championship in Sheffield where this year’s winner will receive £425,000.
The WSF is an officially recognised International Federation (IF) registered in Switzerland and is the sole recognised IF of the WPBSA. Its aims are to provide a strong platform for sports governance, remove barriers for players and provide inspirational opportunities globally for those players who aspire to develop a career in snooker.
