WPBSA Players is pleased to announce that Mark Davis has been appointed as Chairman, with Ben Woollaston stepping into the role of Vice-Chairman.

The former ranking event finalist replaces Ken Doherty as Chairman, with the 1997 world champion continuing to serve on the Board after being re-elected at the recent AGM.

Mark Davis said “I’m delighted to take on the role of Chairman. My commitment remains exactly the same as the day I joined the Players Board: to represent the players interests on a wide range of issues”.

ABOUT WPBSA PLAYERS

WPBSA Players was formed in 2020 to fill the role of Player’s Association with a specific mandate to act in the collective best interest of its professional playing members in relation to welfare and issues affecting the professional game.

The WPBSA Players Board provides a broad representation of the World Snooker Tour Rankings and mix of current and former players and aims to create an environment that creates positive debate on subjects which affect all professional snooker players.
