Vinnie Calabrese defeated Daniell Haenga 5-1 to win the fifth and final Q Tour Asia-Pacific event of the season at the Redcliffe Snooker Club in Redcliffe, Australia.
The former professional won through a field of 55 cueists to lift his third Q Tour title of the campaign and finish top of the Asia-Pacific series ranking list for a third successive season.

Calabrese entered the competition, known also as Dr Clem Jones AO Qld Snooker Championships, at the last 32 stage where he swept aside Aemal Shirzad by a 3-0 scoreline.
Further successes against Deepak Bala (4-1) and Adrian Law (4-0) saw the 38-year-old reach the concluding day with just a single frame dropped, and his fine form continued in the semi-finals as breaks of 86 and 47 helped Calabrese to a whitewash win over David Wright.

Haenga was awaiting in the title match after a strong performance in the event which had seen him compile the tournament high break of 120 before later defeating Paul Norris in a decider to reach his maiden Q Tour final.
A break of 80 helped Calabrese move two frames ahead in a race to five.

His opponent rallied with a contribution of 60 to halve the deficit, but the comeback was short-lived as Calabrese found his scoring form and fired in breaks of 67, 58 and 75 to get over the line and take home the title.
