We work closely with both Government and Parliamentarians to promote snooker throughout the UK and abroad.

Regular meetings are held with ministers in Whitehall and the Devolved Administrations.  We work closely with the Department of Business and Trade in support of trade missions.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Snooker chaired by Sir Gavin Williamson MP and a membership of 25 Parliamentarians, support us in Westminster.  The Group brings together Members of the House of Commons and House of Lords from all major parties.

The Group’s aim is “to promote and support snooker in its global and national sports development and as a grassroots and amateur sport in the UK” The WPBSA acts as the secretariat to the APPG.

The group has regular meetings for MPs and Peers to hear about key issues for us and we encourage MPs to visit their local clubs.
