All-Party Parliamentary Group for Snooker
The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Snooker has supported the sport in Parliament over many years.
Aims and objectives:
The group ‘promotes and support snooker in its global and national sports development and as a grassroots and amateur sport in the UK.”

Meetings
We held our AGM on 2 April 2025.
An EGM and member meeting was held on 10 December 2025.
The group has regular meetings with MPs and Peers to brief them about key issues for us. We work with local snooker clubs and venues on MP visits.

Sir Gavin Williamson (Stone, Great Wyrley and Penkridge): To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what support her Department provides to snooker (a) tournaments and (b) clubs and venues.
Sir Gavin Williamson (Stone, Great Wyrley and Penkridge): To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment she has made of the impact of the increase in rateable values on snooker clubs and venues.
