Bio

Noppon Saengkham has been an ever-present on the World Snooker Tour since 2013 and reached the final of the 2023 Scottish Open.

A former winner of the World Under-21 Championship in 2009, Saengkham turned professional for a single season before regaining his place four years later with victory at the Asian Under-21 Championship.

His best results as a professional to date came in 2023 when he defeated Rebecca Kenna, Lukas Kleckers, Ali Carter, Matthew Selt, Sanderson Lam and John Higgins to reach the title match in Edinburgh before being beaten by Gary Wilson.

He also notably became only the third Thai player (after James Wattana and Dechawat Poomjaeng) to reach the last 16 of the World Championship in 2020, defeating former champion Shaun Murphy 10-4 at the Crucible Theatre, before losing 13-12 to three-time winner Mark Selby.

In 2019, he made his first maximum break against Mark Selby at the Welsh Open in Cardiff.
