The Home of Snooker Training in Bulgaria

We opened the doors of the National Snooker Academy in the autumn of 2022, with the honour of its official opening being given to none other than the legend of the sport himself, Ronnie O’Sullivan.

From the very beginning, the idea behind this place was driven by our ambition to offer world-class training facilities and coaching — and why not, to help create the first Bulgarian professional snooker player.

The academy is also open to everyone who wishes to play for enjoyment in top-level conditions, while also having the opportunity to receive advice and guidance from some of Bulgaria’s leading snooker coaches.

Professional equipment and an outstanding location

Our facility is the best in the country. We feature eight premium snooker tables (Arena model), top-class cushions (Steel Block), the finest balls in the world (Aramith G1), and Strachan Tournament cloths. The equipment is maintained daily: the tables are ironed with a special table iron every day, and the balls are polished using a professional machine.

One of our greatest advantages is the location. The academy is situated inside the Vasil Levski National Stadium. We offer a calm and friendly atmosphere, along with an impressive view of the stadium pitch.

An atmosphere like no other

In addition to the unique view of the National Stadium pitch and the welcoming, friendly environment where everyone is welcome, we can also boast an extraordinary interior design. On one of the walls, you will find a section of a snooker table featuring the original cloth from the 2022 World Championship final.

The balls are arranged in the exact position from which Ronnie O’Sullivan made his match-winning break in the final frame to claim his seventh World Championship title. We also have the gloves of Desislava Bozhilova for her Crucible final.
