Bio

Liam Pullen successfully came through Q School in May 2023 to secure his place on the World Snooker Tour for the first time in his career.

Aged just 17, the youngster defeated Mark Lloyd, Jed Mann, Gary Britton, Craig Steadman, Sydney Wilson and Alex Taubman to turn professional.

From York, Pullen had previously reached the final of the 2023 WSF Junior Championship in Sydney, Australia, losing 5-1 to compatriot Stan Moody.

At national level, Pullen’s honours include victory at the 2023 English Under-18 Championship, while he also finished top of the 2022/23 Under-21 Premier Junior Tour rankings. He is a former runner-up in the English Under-14 and Under-16 Championships.

Pullen also reached the final of the 2023 EBSA European Under-18 Championship, losing 4-3 to Hungary’s Bulcsú Révész.

During his first year on the World Snooker Tour, Pullen reached the last 32 stage of the International Championship with notable victories over former world champion Graeme Dott and Thailand’s Noppon Saengkham.
