Long Zehuang secured a place on the World Snooker Tour for the first time in 2023, following his performances on the CBSA China Tour during the 2022/23 season.
Long made a strong start to his professional career, going unbeaten in his maiden event at the 2023 Championship League as he topped his initial group before losing out in the semi-final group stage with three draws.
A run to the last 16 of the 2023 Shoot Out proved to be Long’s of his debut season, while he also scored impressive victories over Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and Si Jiahui on his way to the last 32 of the 2024 World Open.
At the 2024 Wuhan Open, Long broke new ground by reaching the semi-finals with victories over Mark Selby, Dylan Emery, Jackson Page, Ben Woollaston and Jack Lisowski before losing out to eventual champion Xiao Guodong.
