Leicester’s Louis Heathcote is a two-time ranking event quarter-finalist with a career-high ranking of 66.

At the 2021 Shoot Out, he won four matches to reach his first quarter-final, before losing out 47-37 to Craig Steadman. Three years later, Heathcote defeated Mark Selby, Jimmy Robertson and Tian Pengfei to reach the last eight of the 2024 Northern Ireland Open in Belfast.

He scored one of the best wins of his career at the 2020 World Championship qualifiers, defeating two-time former world finalist Ali Carter 6-3, before losing 10-5 to Alan McManus in the final qualifying round.

In 2015 Heathcote reached the final of the EBSA European Under-21 Championship, losing 6-3 to Darryl Hill.
