Bio

Mohamed Shehab returned to the World Snooker Tour for the third time in his career in 202 following  a 17-year absence.

Shehab, from the United Arab Emirates, first played on the professional tour for a single season in 1996/97 and again in 2006/07, recording a career-high ranking of 90th position.

He finished second in the WPBSA Q Tour Middle East ranking list after winning the third event of the series in 2024, which earned him a place at the Global Play-Offs in Bosnia & Herzegovina – where a 10-8 victory over Yu Kiu Chang secured Shehab a return to the World Snooker Tour.

One of the Middle East’s most decorated players, Shehab has won medals at the World Games and Asian Indoor Games and is a former UAE Amateur champion.
