Sanderson Lam successfully came through the second event of Q School 2022 to confirm his return to the World Snooker Tour for the first time since 2019.
Lam defeated Fan Zhengyi, Cao Yupeng, Liam Graham and Anthony McGill to reach a ranking event quarter-final for the first time at the 2023 Scottish Open and he reached a career high ranking of 57th in December 2024.
Lam first turned professional in 2015 following his victory at the EBSA Qualifying Tour Playoffs, before he extended his stay by a further two years by coming through Q School in 2017.
