Zak Surety compiled snooker’s 201st official maximum break against Ding Junhui at the 2024 World Open in Yushan.
His career-best run in a ranking event came during the same season as he defeated Jack Lisowski, Alexander Ursenbacher and Elliot Slessor to reach the last 16 of the 2024 German Masters.
He regained his place on the World Snooker Tour in August 2020 following his successful qualification from Q School with a 4-1 victory against Leo Fernandez.
From Basildon, the Englishman first enjoyed a two-year spell as a professional from 2014-16, thrice reaching the last 32 of events at the 2015 China Open, 2016 European Masters and 2020 Scottish Open.
