Liam Pullen made the first 147 break of his career during a 6-1 win over Kaylan Patel at Victorian Plumbing UK Championship Qualifying, taking the tour total for the season to a record equalling 15.

The perfect break came in the sixth frame of his victory and it puts him in line for a £15,000 high break prize. He will also scoop a massive £147,000 bonus if he makes another during any of this season’s three Triple Crown events. Ronnie O’Sullivan picked up that prize at the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters by making two maximums against Chris Wakelin.

It’s the 232nd maximum in snooker history.
