Snooker stars paid a visit to the famous Daqing TV Tower during this week’s International Championship.
At 260m tall, it’s the highest steel broadcasting tower in China, as Mike Dunn, Sanderson Lam, Steven Hallworth and Jason Ferguson found out.
They met executives from the TV station, signed merchandise and enjoyed a tour of the tower.
WPBSA Chairman Ferguson said: “It was a great pleasure and extremely interesting to pay a visit to Daqing TV Tower. We all know about the phenomenal TV viewing figures snooker gets in China and this was a fascinating insight into how everything works behind the scenes at a major broadcasting studio.
“The support for snooker we have had this week during the International Championship has been marvellous, we are so thrilled by the passion for our sport among the people of Daqing.
“As ever my thanks go to the players who took part in this trip.”
