The WPBSA is supporting this year’s Women’s Sport Week, a celebration of women’s sport which gets underway today and aims to raise awareness and increase the profile of women’s sport across the UK.
Together with World Ladies Billiards and Snooker, we will be posting and sharing the best content via social media, to celebrate the involvement of women in sport and in particular snooker and billiards. The week also coincides with the first anniversary of the Reach campaign, which is run by sports coach uk and aims to inspire women to get involved with sports coaching.
This weekend will see the 2016 LITEtask UK Ladies Championship held at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds, with world number one Reanne Evans looking to avenge her defeat to defending champion Ng On Yee in last year’s final.
