World Billiards is pleased to confirm that Landywood Snooker Club will once again host the long-format World Billiards Championship in October 2026, continuing its role as host venue since 2023.

Widely regarded as one of the premier tournament venues in the UK, the Landywood Snooker Club will also stage the English Open and the Women’s World Championship. All three events will take place over six days, from October 10th to 15th.

World Billiards Managing Director Jason Colebrook said: “We’re delighted to be returning to Landywood Snooker Club for the 2026 World Billiards Championship. The superb playing conditions and warm hospitality provided by Paul Lloyd and his team make it a pleasure for players and officials alike. We look forward to another outstanding week of competition in Great Wyrley.”

The venue has already played host to memorable moments in recent years, including David Causier’s outstanding achievement of winning both the English Open and the World Championship in 2024 and again in 2025.

World Billiards looks forward to returning to Great Wyrley to see the world’s leading players compete once more for the prestigious John Roberts Trophy. Further details will be announced in the coming months.
