It’s World Mental Health Day and this year’s theme is ‘Mental Health in an Unequal World’. We have collaborated with our partners Sporting Chance to encourage everybody to prioritise their mental health in the same way they prioritise their physical health.
In the world of sport there is an obvious focus on physical health but it is vital to view mental health with the same level of importance and to know where to go when you are in mental pain as readily as you would in physical pain.
We support our sportspeople’s mental health in various ways and, through our relationship with Sporting Chance, they have access to confidential and professional treatment and education for any mental health concern.
We would also like to highlight the work of our additional partners including Mind, Silence of Suicide and more to support our professional players.
