We are today excited to announce that snooker clubs from around the world can now apply to place their pin on our official WPBSA Club Finder Map!
Earlier this year we launched the all-new WPBSA.com website which for the first time included our ‘Find Your Club’ facility, aimed at allowing anyone around the world to be able to locate their nearest snooker club to be able to participate in our sport.
Developed initially through the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards, our club database currently contains over 800 clubs based in England, including over 70 EPSB 147 Clubs which are part of the EPSB’s own membership scheme.
Joining the WPBSA Club finder Map has now been made easy for clubs around the world without the need for affiliation by filling in a simple form.
To add your club to our map as a ‘Place to Play’ visit our ‘Add Your Club’ page to find our online form requesting basic information about you and your club.
Simply complete the information requested and once approved by the WPBSA, a basic profile page will be created for your club, which will be included within club searches and displayed with a pin on our map.
Jason Ferguson, WPBSA Chairman said: “I am very excited by the launch of this new feature and to be able to welcome snooker clubs from across the globe to be included within our official online club database.
“For many years I have travelled around the world and seen the incredible reach of our sport first-hand. The WPBSA is embarking on this project to support the great work of many federations and partners around the world who do incredible work beside us, often with very limited resources. We are all becoming more and more connected online, something we have seen even more of during recent COVID-19 times. We are all extremely proud of our sport and we are now very excited about demonstrating just how big the global snooker community is.”
