The fourth event of the 2024/25 WPBSA Q Tour Asia-Pacific series begins on Thursday 10 October at the Mounties Club in Sydney, Australia.

The event, which is known as the Bob Hawke AC Memorial Australian Open Snooker Championship, is the latest of five events which make up the newly-expanded Asia-Pacific series. A total of 92 players from three nations will be competing for the title in Sydney.

Current rankings leader Vinnie Calabrese, who won the first two WPBSA Q Tour Asia-Pacific events of the season, is among those featuring in the event in Sydney.

The top ranked player in the series’ ranking list at the conclusion of the fifth event will be invited to the WPBSA Q Tour Global play-offs, where three World Snooker Tour cards will be on offer.
