For a second successive season, the WPBSA Q Tour will return to the Snookerhallen, Sweden and will be the second of seven tournaments to be staged during the UK/Europe series. Last year saw England’s Billy Castle claim his first Q Tour title at the venue.
WPBSA Q Tour UK/Europe will see the top ranked player at the end of the season claim a place on the World Snooker Tour, with a further three places to be won at the WPBSA Q Tour Global Playoff next year. For the first time, this will also incorporate additional qualifiers from international Q Tour events held around the world.
The first event of the season was won last month by Welshman Liam Davies in North Shields.
