Ireland’s Leone Crowley defeated Kaylan Patel 5-0 to win the 2025 World Snooker Federation (WSF) Junior Championship and earn professional status for the first time.
Crowley dropped just six frames en route to the title in Saïdia, Morocco and a comfortable victory over England’s Patel saw him awarded with a two-year World Snooker Tour (WST) tour card.
A former EBSA European Under-18 Championship runner-up, the Irishman made his professional debut at the 2023 Shoot Out where he lost to Wales’ Jackson Page.
Following his success at the WSF Championships, Crowley also earned a spot in the 2025 World Championship qualifying rounds where he lost 10-3 to Manasawin Phetmalaikul from Thailand.
