Coaching Level: Level 2
Coaching Licence: Snooker: Child & Adults Coach
I’ve been involved in sport all my life as a player, spectator, coach and through sports development roles.
I started coaching snooker as a hobby in my local club in 2009. I then enrolled in the WPBSA coaching programme, which taught me a great deal to apply to my approach to coaching.
I coach on a part-time basis in Bristol and Bath. This comprises of individual, pair and group sessions, covering different ages and abilities, including players with learning disabilities. I run university snooker team training sessions, and have experience delivering snooker activities for older adults. I also enjoy running tournaments – anything to encourage more people to have a go!
As a highlight of playing snooker, I was lucky enough to represent England Universities at the Home Internationals.
Snooker is a fantastic sport! It’s brilliant to see players improve their game through coaching and practice.
