Luca Brecel made the first maximum break of his career during a match against John Higgins at Championship League group seven on Monday.
Belgium’s Brecel made the perfect break in the third frame to wrap up a 3-0 win in Coventry.
It’s the 136th 147 in snooker history and fifth of the season.
This does not affect the rolling prize pot for a maximum at a ranking event, which will stand at £35,000 at next week’s China Open.
The break was officiated by Paul Collier, representing the fourth maximum break presided over by the Welshman in professional competition.
