I first played Pool back in the 1980’s and thought it was great.
Then I played one frame of a new game, and instantly fell in love with one of the most challenging, frustrating, and yet wonderfully rewarding sports in the world: Snooker!
So: I bought the book “Successful Snooker” by my snooker hero Steve Davis, and over time, the knowledge I gained from it, improved my game immensely!
I managed to reach a reasonably high amateur standard, achieving several century breaks, and playing for Bolton in the Regional Inter League.
Now, as a fully qualified WPBSA Coach, and with over 40 years’ experience in the game; following the WPBSA “White to Black” Coaching Programme; I love to help others to enjoy learning to play the game, and hopefully help them to achieve their best potential within this wonderful sport of Snooker.
