Estonia’s Andres Petrov turned professional for the first time at the start of the 2022/23 season following his victory at the EBSA European Championship in Albania.
Petrov reached the last 64 of the 2019 Riga Masters as an amateur following a 4-0 victory against Kishan Hirani.
Petrov has been a regular competitor at amateur tournaments for several years, notably winning the EBSA 6-Red Championship in 2021. He also reached the final of the 2017 European Championship, losing to Scotland’s Chris Totten.
Away from the baize, Petrov is also a qualified EBSA Snooker Coach.
