China’s Lei Peifan turned professional at the age of just 16 by taking the final tour card available via the 2019 Q School Order of Merit.
His strongest ranking event performances to date came at the 2020 Shoot Out and 2021 Gibraltar Open where he reached the last 32 stage.
He scored his highest break of 138 at the 2021 World Championship qualifiers in Sheffield and a year later came within two balls of qualifying for the Crucible for the first time, ultimately losing out 10-9 to Hossein Vafaei in the final qualifying round.
